In 2012 he participated in the Association of British Riding Schools Young Instructor of the Year Award, where he was the runner-up. This was a big achievement for someone who only started riding at 16 years of age.
Teaching is Dan’s biggest passion; but he also enjoys being involved with the starting process of young horses. Dan works closely with Debbie and Juliet to ensure that all the riders at Severnvale enjoy their lessons.
