Eric Winter

Eric started his career in show jumping winning major classes at the Horse of the Year Show, Royal International and Hickstead.

In 1986 he turned his attention to Eventing. He competed at Badminton & Burgley in 1989 and 1990. He has represented England in Holland and France (where he rode on the team).

He has subsequently qualified a further 10 horses for Badminton, all of which have been sold on. Eric is a British Eventing accredited coach.

More recently Eric has become a Technical Advisor and has been able to apply his wide range of experience to overseeing safety in the sport of Eventing.

He is also an international cross country course designer, using his knowledge to design courses for the Blenheim, Longleat, Chepstow International, Somerley Park, and Belmont Horse Trials.
