Combined Green Horse & Pre-season Event Course

A three-day course designed to give both competitors and horses a positive and helpful start to the year and to encourage and help nervous, novice riders. It will also give the young horse a chance to start its career with good basic foundation skills.

The aim is to improve confidence, trust, technique and co-ordination - the vital ingredient for a successful partnership to progress in the demanding sport of “Eventing”

The course includes dressage training, gymnastic jumping, related distances, dealing with a showjumping course and cross country techniques (indoors). It also includes cross country schooling and how to walk a cross country course and avoid the pitfall’s!

The three days will be taken by Lizzel and Eric Winter, who are both accredited trainers for British Eventing. Lizzel is also the National Coach to the British Junior Equestrian team.

They are both extremely experienced instructors and international competitors themselves; and have been fortunate enough to represent their country on several occasions. Additionally, they have between them produced many international horses that have competed at the very highest level of competitions throughout the world.
