Weekly sessions - starting 13th March

Ellie Halsey BHS A.I. will take this weekly course on stable management and equine first aid, which aims to help you look after your horse. These evening sessions are also aimed at those who would like to work towards, and perhaps sit, the British Horse Society Stage 1 or 2 examinations.

Discussion groupThe course covers the handling of horses, tacking up and untacking, in addition to every day maintenance and running repairs. It also includes how to deal with the general everyday health of your horse, as well as the more serious injures that happen from time to time.

Each session has a practical hands-on approach and includes some classroom discussion. The course will cover the BHS stage 1 & 2 requirements and will run for as long as there is demand for it.

The sessions, which are on a Tuesday evenings, start at 6.00 p.m.

The cost is £26 per session, which includes a ride at 7.00 p.m.
