Work experience allows you to do
  that. Severnvale believe that work
  experience is vital for young
people, like you, and is an
important part of your education. It
bridges the gap between school and
work, helps you to make decisions
about your future and to develop
  new skills.
Severnvale’s work experience scheme is normally
  run in association with local
schools as part of their wider
  careers guidance policy.
While with us, you will be able to
carry out a range of tasks and
duties, more or less as you would
as an employee; helping you to
  learn from the experience.
Care is taken to ensure that this is appropriate your
needs, and takes into account your choices, as well
as what is desirable for you.
It gives you the opportunity for involvement in a
workplace, helping you to understand how the world of
work operates and how it differs to school.
Experience of a real workplace is also the best way to
discover what you really like doing
and where you want to go in life.
  Remember, every work experience is
different, but it is designed to give
you the opportunity to make the
most of your time with us; but it’s a
learning experience and not a job.
  If work experience with Severnvale
interests you, contact the Careers Co-ordinator in your
school and discuss it with them.
